SPCA Offers $2,000 Reward For Information On Horribly Neglected Dog

The Suffolk County SPCA is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for abandoning a dog, which was turned in to the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter in "horrible condition," as one shelter worker put it. (Credit: SPCA)

A Shih Tzu type dog was found in an abandoned house in Lindenhurst, its matted fur and nails so overgrown that the animal no longer knows how to walk correctly, the Suffolk County SPCA said.
