YONKERS, NY (MorichesDaily) – A small single engine plane carrying two people has crashed into the Hudson River in Yonkers, New York.
The two people were wearing life vests were pulled out of the water and are on the way to the hospital, according to reports.
The plane was left fully submerged in the chilly waters.
According to the FAA, the aircraft is a Piper PA-32. Aircraft registration is N1967E.
The flight was flying under Visual Flight Rules, and not receiving Air Traffic Control Services.
The two people aboard the single-engine aircraft that went down in the Hudson River about 5:25 p.m. and did not say what their conditions were.
