Two people have been found dead in a Long Island home and what happened is still a mystery.
ELMONT, NY (MorichesDaily) — Police say two people were found dead in an Elmont home on Sussex Road with gunshot wounds Monday night.
Police found the bodies in the house on Sussex Road around 6:30 p.m. after getting a call about a gas leak at 171 Sussex Road.
However, when cops arrived they discovered there was no gas leak but they found the bodies of an unidentified 46-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man.
Police are withholding their names, pending family notification.
Nassau homicide detectives were conducting an investigation. No additional information was immediately available.
