Yaphank, N.Y. (MorichesDaily) — Suffolk County Police are looking for help in finding a man who burglarized four tire stores in Centereach, Shirley and Smithtown in late 2012, stealing cash and New York State vehicle inspection stickers.
Suffolk County police are asking the public’s help identifying the suspect who was recorded on video surveillance footage inside at least one of the four Mavis Discount Tire stores they said were burglarized in October and November.
Police hope any leads will help them locate the suspect who is believed to be in his 50s, bald with a stocky build.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
